About us

224 Athletics is a youth athletic program dedicated to developing strong, confident, and well-rounded athletes. Our programs focus on building fundamental athletic skills, improving strength and coordination, and creating a positive environment where athletes can grow both physically and mentally.Through structured training and skill development, athletes learn proper technique, discipline, teamwork, and confidence that extend beyond sports.224 Athletics offers a variety of youth programs including cheerleading, tumbling, athletic development, and other skill-based training designed to support long-term athletic growth. As the program continues to grow, our goal is to expand opportunities for young athletes through additional classes, clinics, and sports development programs.Programs are currently offered at Keystone Recreation Center and Northdale Recreation Center, with plans to continue expanding throughout the community.At 224 Athletics, we focus on developing strong athletes and confident individuals by building strength, character, and habits that last forever.

Coach Juliette

Head Coach

Juliette Pacheco is the founder of 224 Athletics and a dedicated youth coach with a passion for building confident, well-rounded athletes. As a former University of South Florida All-Girl Cheerleader and three-time national champion, she brings high-level experience into a fun, supportive, and approachable coaching style.With a background in Health Sciences and extensive experience in athletics, Juliette focuses on teaching strong fundamentals, confidence, and teamwork, helping athletes not only improve their skills, but grow in sports and in life.

Cheerleading

Cheer Fundamentals Program


224 Athletics offers a fun, structured Cheer Fundamentals Program for athletes ages 4 and up. This program focuses on developing cheerleading skills, building confidence, and promoting teamwork in a positive and supportive environment. Each week of the program has a different skill focus, allowing athletes to learn and practice core cheer techniques such as motions, jumps, stunts, and tumbling in a progressive and engaging way. By the end of the program, athletes will finish as stronger, more confident cheerleaders with new skills and improved technique.224 Cheer Fundamentals is currently offered at Keystone Recreation Center.Cheer Fundamentals and Tumbling bundle available at a discounted rate.6 Week Programs - Summer 2026:

Cheerleading Team


224 Athletics offers fun, affordable recreational cheerleading for athletes ages 6 and up. This program builds on the basics of cheerleading including motions, jumps, stunts, tumbling, and choreography. Athletes will learn choreography, formations, timing, and performance skills while working together on a complete routine. The program emphasizes confidence, teamwork, and stage presence in a fun and supportive environment. The cheer season is 16 weeks long and is offered twice per year: January–April and August–December. At the end of the season, the team will perform their routine at a local community event, giving athletes the opportunity to showcase what they’ve learned and celebrate their hard work.Regular attendance is strongly encouraged, as each practice builds on the last and is essential for learning stunts, formations, timing, and ensuring the team can perform safely and confidently together.224 Cheerleading is currently offered at Keystone Recreation Center.Affordable recreational pricing. Tumbling

Tumbling Program


This program is an ongoing weekly tumbling class designed to help athletes build strength, coordination, and confidence while developing proper tumbling technique through skill progressions appropriate to their level. Athletes will be placed in groups based on skill level.Beginner Level: Athletes will learn the fundamentals of tumbling, including forward and backward rolls, handstands, cartwheels, bridges, and kickovers.
Intermediate Level: Athletes will work toward higher-level tumbling skills, including mastering round-offs, front walkovers, and back walkovers, while progressing toward front and back handsprings.

Athletic Development Training


224 Athletics offers a fun and engaging Athletic Development Class for athletes ages 6–12. This program focuses on building a strong foundation of movement skills while helping athletes improve coordination, strength, balance, speed, and overall athletic ability.Through a variety of games, drills, and fun challenges, athletes will develop important physical skills that support success in all sports. The class emphasizes proper movement mechanics, teamwork, and confidence while keeping athletes active and engaged. Private Lessons

Private Lessons


224 Athletics offers private lessons for athletes who want individualized coaching and focused skill development. Private lessons provide one-on-one instruction tailored to the athlete’s current skill level and goals, allowing for more personalized attention than a group class.
These sessions are a great option for athletes who want to build confidence, improve technique, work through skill progressions, or get extra practice outside of regular programs. Private lessons can help athletes strengthen fundamentals, refine specific skills, and make faster progress in a supportive training environment.

Camps/Clinics

High School & Middle School Cheer Tryout Prep Clinic


This 3-session clinic is designed to help athletes prepare for upcoming middle school and high school cheer tryouts. Athletes will work on key cheerleading skills while building the confidence and technique needed to perform their best during tryouts.
Throughout the clinic, athletes will review and practice important cheer elements including motions, jumps, tumbling, stunting fundamentals, and overall performance skills. Our goal is to ensure athletes feel prepared, confident, and ready for their upcoming school tryouts.
This program is coached by Coach Juliette, founder of 224 Athletics and a former member of the University of South Florida All-Girl Cheerleading Team, where she helped lead the program to three national titles. With her experience at the collegiate level and background coaching youth athletes, Coach Juliette provides valuable insight into the skills, technique, and confidence needed to succeed during school cheer tryouts.Program dates and times will be announced soon.This program is will be available at Northdale Recreation Center May 2026!Full details available on the registration page.
